New Payment Center
In an effort to reduce the use of paper in our business, Nature's Creations has added an online Payment Center to our website. Clients can easily make online invoice payments there using a PayPal account or credit cards.

Dormant Oil - Applications
During this month we are applying dormant oil to trees and shrubs. This application is important to healthy plant growth in the spring. The dormant oil is applied to the leaves, stems, and the trunk. The oil smothers any over-wintering insect eggs, larvae, and adult insects. It kills scales, aphids, thrips, mealybugs, and mites. These insects finds shelter from the cold in the plant material.

January 15th, 2009:
Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor - Continual Education- Santa Monica, CA
I visited Santa Monica, Ca to attend a two day training seminar, to fulfill 10hrs of continual education to renew my Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Certificate. The seminar focused on the proper approach to audit a sprinkler system.

Auditing an irrigation system is very important to efficient watering, and water conservation. Understanding weather data, soil type, irrigation distribution, creates a watering schedule to produce healthy plants, with minimal water usage. An audit also locates problems in the irrigation system that need repair and updated.

We should all follow proper approaches to efficiency watering because every drop counts. If you think your irrigation system is outdated I recommend requesting an audit, and invest in important upgrades.
